"markdown": "The Associate in Science in Physics 2.0 for Transfer (AS-T in Physics 2.0) offers students a fundamental knowledge of Physics and its relation to science, technology, and engineering. Students will enhance their problem-solving and critical thinking skills by applying mathematical models to real-world problems or utilizing mathematical objects and theorems to evaluate the validity of a statement or to prove mathematical statements. The Associate in Science in Physics 2.0 for Transfer (AS-T) meets the requirements of SB 1440 for Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADT). These degrees are intended to make it easier for students to transfer to a California State University campus. Specifically, if a student completes an \"associate degree for transfer\": To earn an Associate in Science in Physics 2.0 for Transfer (AS-T in Physics 2.0) degree, a student must complete the following: - Completion of 60 semester units or 90 quarter units of degree-applicable courses - A minimum of 18 semester units or 27 quarter units in a major or area of emphasis, as determined by the community college district - Completion of the Cal-GETC pattern - Students must earn a C or better in all courses required for the major or area of emphasis. A “P” (Pass) grade is an acceptable grade for courses in the major. - Minimum overall grade point average of 2.0\n\n### Program Requirements"
