This program is made up of courses conforming to the recommended Uniform Fire Technology Curriculum of the California Community College System. Upon completion of the UFTC, professional firefighters should plan to enroll in appropriate programs at Regional Training Centers sponsored by the California Fire Academy System. Fire Technology courses are offered in the evening to allow working persons easy access to instruction. Classes are updated by the local advisory group to maintain relevancy and meet changing industry needs.
