"markdown": "The Associate of Arts in Communication Studies 2.0 for Transfer (AA-T in Communication Studies 2.0) degree offers students a comprehensive course of study of the many facets of human communication. Public speaking and performance, interpersonal and group communication, argumentation, and mass media are some of the contexts studied. Students will enhance their own communication practices in professional and personal settings, as well as study theories and concepts that examine the impact of communication on relationships and society at large. The Associate of Arts in Communication Studies 2.0 for Transfer (AA-T in Communication Studies 2.0) degree meets the requirements of SB 1440 for Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADT). These degrees are intended to make it easier for students to transfer to California State University campuses, but do not exclude admittance to other colleges or universities. To earn an Associate of Arts in Communication Studies 2.0 for Transfer (AA-T in Communication Studies 2.0) degree, a student must complete the following: - Completion of 60 semester units or 90 quarter units of degree-applicable courses - A minimum of 18-semester units in a major or area of emphasis, as determined by the community college district - Completion of the Cal-GETC pattern - Minimum grade of “C” (or “P”) for each course in the major - Minimum overall grade point average of 2.0\n\n### Program Requirements"
